I am a life long musician with a diverse set of skills and abilities to offer. Ranging from teaching rock band classes at public high school, to private instruction, to song-writing commissions, to playing your private party, I offer more than just quality music. My goal as a musician and educator is to use the power of music to help bring others joy, happiness, and a passion for life-long music learning.

Certified K-12 Music Teacher
With a BM in voice performance from Syracuse University and a Masters in Music Education from Temple University, I have experience teaching public school music at the elementary and high school level. Always looking for new and innovative ways to make music and keep students engaged, I developed the Rossview High School Modern Rock Band program which has flourished throughout Montgomery County School district in Clarksville TN. With this program, the high school has been able to reach more students with a broader socioeconomic and cultural background, and has given students real live performing opportunities at real venues in the area.

Private Instruction
Having started teaching private piano lessons at the age of 16, I have over 15 years of experience teaching piano, voice, and guitar. With a diverse musical background I can offer my students lessons in traditional skills such as music literacy, ear training, music theory and composing, or more modern skills such as song-writing. Focusing on student centered learning, I teach these skills through the genre and style that the student is interested in. Whether you are interested in classical, jazz, pop, R&B, Latin styles, or composing, music learning is for everyone!
